Bring a lunch or you can order from the sub shop next to the GAC.
Supply list (Jan's recommendations):
At a minimum: Portable easel, pastels in a pochade box (a pastel box or some kind of container in which you can carry your pastels safely), some type of support on which to paint, chair, cell phone
Highly recommended: some kind of rolling carrying case (Jan recommends a milk-carton-type box you can get at Jerry's Artarama, Office Depot/Max, or Walmart), vine charcoal, a viewfinder if you have one (can use your cell phone for this purpose), wipes (Wet Wipes or baby wipes), small sketchbook and pencil, paint brush (to remove pastel), paper (sanded paper either mounted or taped on foam core or gatorboard or ampersand board), hat, some sort of sun protection (like an umbrella), sunscreen, bug spray.
