Christine Swann PSA, IAPS/EPS – Pastel Portrait Workshop

The Central Texas Pastel Society (CTPS) is thrilled to announce our Pastel Workshop for the fall of 2023 will be led by Christine Swann PSA, IAPS/EPS. Christine is accomplished in pastel and oil and we will enjoy her pastel knowledge and skills.  She is not only recognized but held in high esteem as she was presented with Eminent Pastelist by the International Association of Pastel Societies. Christine recently moved to Greenville, SC, where she has her home, but has a studio and teaches at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Christine will be teaching her 5-layer method of working with pastel as well as the Law and Rules of light and how it applies to portraiture. 

We will have a live model. There will be a demo on Thursday night at 6:00 at the Community Room at San Gabriel Park, 1101 N College Street, Georgetown TX (same as workshop location).

Dates:  November 17-18-19, 2023

Times: 9:00 to 4:30 (Friday because of the opening at the Georgetown Library we will stop at 3:30)

Price: $400 for members, $425 for non-members°
